The stamped looked in these pictures resembles an old barn look with a gloss finish.
This type of stamped concrete requires a dye that you put into the concrete mixer (called integral color). Once concrete is placed and leveled we wait until the concrete sets up enough for us to step on & tamp the concrete stamps. Before the stamps are set down a release agent must be put on to allow the stamps to be pulled off the concrete cleanly. It also adds depth in the coloring.
Once the entire surface is stamped we come back to saw cut to prevent cracking and power wash the surface to remove excess release agent (leaving some on for added color). After power washing is complete we add a water based stain to the surface which gives the desired tint.
After the stain has dried the last step is to apply a sealer of the desired finish (matt, semi gloss, high gloss, etc). You can see the finished product of the barn board stamps in these pictures. Beautiful!
